The Sizemores
My wife(Sandy) and I relocated our family to Rock Hill, SC from Kentucky in 2001 to serve on staff at First Baptist. Sandy served for a brief time as Director of Preschool and Children's Ministry, but stepped down due to some health issues.
I served for a time initially as Associate Pastor for Senior Adults & Pastoral Care, but have been serving for the last five years as Associate Pastor for Adult and Discipleship Ministry.
My responsibilities include: directing the church's ministry to Adults, as well as leading our New Member Assimilation and Discipleship programs.
I direct our Sunday School ministry, which offers classes at three different hours each Sunday (8:00, 9:15 & 10:30 am). These classes actively seek to enlist new members, foster spiritual friendships, minister to the needs of attendees and promote individual spiritual growth.
We truly believe the purpose of Sunday School is to "Reach, Teach and Minister" to people in the name of Jesus Christ.
As the leader of our family ministry team, I supervise the members of our staff who lead our preschool, elementary, youth and young adult ministries.
